Cape Jasmines Only

There was no wishlist,
Boring lectures were all gloomy without any twist.

Was waiting for a miracle as days were passing;
Nothing seemed special only numbers were adding to the monotonous aging.

One fine evening, a blissful wind blew me off the track, while passing closely…
Dragged me out of my misery and brightened mornings with cape jasmines only.

The way you loved yourself so biasedly
Wish I could do that to myself a little too…

Having an innocent face, you planned your way in like a sly fox without giving any invitation,
Wish I had a little bit of psychic intuition to predict your cruel intention…

Psychologically situations were drenching me, depression was only around;
Thought you were my true friend, battling in the same ground.

Who knew you were the one, who cunningly laid out blades, identical to grasses…
How did you forget all those kind sacrifices and emotional embraces?!

You tried to convince me that I’m the messed up one, efforts of mine was never good enough according to your observance;
Breaking me was your ultimate goal just to succeed on your mission of dominance.

Wasn’t a fool so you proved your determination in the toughest way possible, in the beginning of our riddle;
Gradually earned my trust only to crush in the middle?!
Still remember your speech on being ’real’,
Used to admire how authentic you were and ideal!

Alas!

Yes, for you, you succeeded on your ill will!
But wait, that won’t last long….
Yes, go and give yourself a pat on the back, celebrate!
But wait, that didn’t last long….

Gratitude might…

Life is mysterious.

Or probably growing up, updates the system and develops some weird(in a good way) qualities.

Now days, bad news or troubled times don’t make the tears to fall down from the cheeks. Mostly standing still, hearing or processing, searching for probable solution or how to cope with the day roams around through the mind; as no one has control over abrupt catastrophes!

Throughout life it is very important realizing that we’ll have to lower all kinds of expectations from another human being. Because higher expectations only will hurt in the end.

Also one more thing, now days, kindness touches me the most. Random act of kindness coming from random people, when somebody does something good for another without expecting anything in return. Sometimes just seeing someone doing random good acts clear the ugliness of the heart and sometimes that gratitude might make the eyes go all teary…

Abrupt Catastrophes

Flapping the wings,
Just like a baby eagle.
All alone…

As nature demanded, will have to acquire the skills of flying; without getting any time or a slight hint, even just moments before when everything was all calm.

Life build us up; as we grow, we learn gradually about life.

Though sometimes, some catastrophes that comes like a storm and the thunders demand us calmly to cope with the abrupt situation as if it couldn’t, shouldn’t or wouldn’t affect us psychologically!

From the outside it might look, we survived the storm courageously which probably we did but somewhere in the subconscious mind we still need to cry out loud about whatever shredded the heart.

Giving the world the attention and concentration it deserves, fulfilling all the responsibilities around is a great attitude and indeed appreciable. But in the meantime, it’s immensely necessary to understand the importance of self love and self care.

A happy heart can receive, serve and give more to the world. Know that this world is in need of good people. Stay humble, cheer up & spread happiness.
